Monitoring Student Applications
Track real-time application progress for all your students. Identify trends, monitor success rates, and ensure your students are actively engaging with employers.
Accessing Application Data
Navigate to your university dashboard and select the "Applications" tab. This view aggregates every internship application submitted by students under your university subscription.
Dashboard Statistics
At the top of the page, you will see four key metrics that provide an instant snapshot of your cohort's performance:
Total Applications
Total number of applications sent by all students.
Success Rate
Percentage of applications that result in a hire.
Hired
Total number of students who have secured an internship.
In Progress
Applications currently active (Applied, Interested, Interviewed).
Filtering & Search
Use the comprehensive filter bar to drill down into specific data sets:
- Search Bar: Find specific applications by Student Name, Email, Internship Title, or Company Name.
- Filter by Stage: View only applications in a specific state (e.g., see who is currently interviewing).
- Filter by Program: Segment data by academic program (e.g., Computer Science, Marketing, Engineering) to compare performance across departments.
Understanding Application Stages
Applications move through a predefined lifecycle. Here is what each status means:
| Stage | Color | Definition |
|---|---|---|
| Applied | Blue | Student has submitted the application. Pending employer review. |
| Interested | Purple | Employer has viewed the profile and marked the candidate as a potential match. |
| Interviewed | Yellow | Interview has been conducted. Final decision pending. |
| Hired | Green | Offer accepted. Internship secured. |
| Denied | Red | Application rejected by employer. |
Monitoring & Intervention
Use this data to support your students:
High "Applied" / Low "Interviewed"
Students are active but not getting traction. Recommendation: Review their CVs and Cover Letters.
High "Interviewed" / Low "Hired"
Students are getting interviews but failing to close. Recommendation: Organize mock interview sessions.
